2022 National Métis Health Forum

The 2022 National Métis Health Forum provides a networking and dialogue opportunity between the Métis Nation and its partners focusing on advancing the Métis national Health Sector. The health forum is committed to inspiring and motivating change in support of Métis health equity, and advocate for future investments and policy change founded on the Métis principles of health.

∞  Articulate the current status of Métis health evidence, research, policy and practice.
∞  Build new partnerships opportunities
∞  Identify Métis public health challenges and related solutions, trends, emerging issues and gaps.
∞  Utilize effective evidence-based Métis public health programs, practices, structures, and systems.
∞  Identify strategies for knowledge translation and exchange relevant to the health of Métis people.
∞  Understanding social determinants of health as a key approach to closing the health gaps between Métis and other Canadians.
