Executive Summary
This document provides a comprehensive list of recommendations made by the Métis National Council (MNC) to parliamentarians in advance of the federal budget. These recommendations are presented as a direct response to challenges and funding gaps identified by Governing Members and the MNC. By implementing these recommendations, the Government of Canada will be taking meaningful steps to protect and promote the strength and wellbeing of the Métis Nation.
