Métis Nation Youth gather for Leadership Camp on Residential, Boarding and Day Schools

Twenty-Five youth from across the Métis Nation Homeland gathered in Saskatoon for a Méits Youth Leadership Camp which focused on the Legacy of Residential Schools and its impact on our Families and Communities. National Leaders Call on All Jurisdictions to Work Towards a First Minister’s Meeting on Key Priorities

National Aboriginal leaders met with Provincial and Territorial Premiers at the Council of the Federation meeting on July 20, 2011 to discuss issues of vital importance to all Canadians. President Chartier attends TRC event in Inuvik, NWT

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission held its opening ceremony to the second national event, the Northern National Event, in Inuvik, NWT on June 28, 2011.
